<p>The #Jerez2031 team held a meeting today to advance the content of Jerez’s bid for European Capital of Culture 2031, specify the timeline for preparing the technical information, finalize the project planning, detail the key elements of the cultural program, and deploy its participation and communication strategy.</p>
<p>The meeting, which took place at Jerez City Hall, also served to discuss the bid’s purpose with the aim of developing the basic documentation through a creative, dynamic, participatory, and inclusive process that, with culture as its main driver, reinforces the values of the European project.</p>
<p>The meeting was attended by Eva Antona (Director of the Presidency, European Funds and Strategic Projects of the city), María José Sánchez Mato (Head of the Department of the Presidency), Abraham Hernández (Head of the Cultural Department), Marco de la Calle (Head of the Department of Strategic Projects), Carlos Martin (External advisor to the candidacy), Lola Vallespí (Cultural advisor to the Mayor’s Office), Ana Pielfort (Head of Communications for the Culture Delegation), as well as the professionals who make up the #Jerez2031 Technical Office: Antonio Javier González (Director of the UCA Secretariat and researcher at INDESS), Amparo Rodríguez (Head of the candidacy’s participatory program) and Francisco Perujo (Director of Communications at the UCA and Head of Communications for #Jerez2031)</p>
