Jerez has a <\/span>robust<\/span> cultural <\/span>strategy<\/span>. The <\/span>city<\/span> made<\/span> culture a <\/span>strategic<\/span> priority<\/span> years<\/span> ago<\/span> and <\/span>developed<\/span> a plan <\/span>that<\/span>, <\/span>thanks<\/span> to<\/span> its<\/span> bid<\/span> to<\/span> become<\/span> the<\/span> European<\/span> Capital <\/span>of<\/span>Culture 2031, has <\/span>now<\/span> been<\/span> strengthened<\/span> with<\/span> a <\/span>review<\/span>and <\/span>update<\/span> aligned<\/span> with<\/span> the<\/span> #Jerez2031 <\/span>goal<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

On<\/span> this<\/span> website<\/span>, <\/span>we<\/span> provide<\/span> citizens<\/span> and <\/span>all<\/span> cultural and <\/span>educational<\/span> sectors<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span> city<\/span> and <\/span>province<\/span> with<\/span> access<\/span> to<\/span>all<\/span> these<\/span> strategic<\/span> documents<\/span> resulting<\/span> from<\/span> the<\/span>candidacy<\/span> process<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since<\/span> Jerez’s<\/span> candidacy<\/span> to<\/span> become<\/span> European<\/span> Capital <\/span>of<\/span>Culture, a <\/span>review<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> Jerez Cultural and Creative <\/span>Strategic<\/span> Plan<\/span> has <\/span>been<\/span> undertaken<\/span>. <\/span>This<\/span> update<\/span> and <\/span>revision<\/span> was<\/span> conceived<\/span> not<\/span> only<\/span> as a <\/span>technical<\/span> update<\/span> but<\/span>also<\/span> as a <\/span>tool<\/span> to<\/span> improve<\/span> implementation<\/span>, <\/span>strengthen<\/span>institutional<\/span> legitimacy<\/span>, and <\/span>align<\/span> with<\/span> European<\/span> standards<\/span>of<\/span> good<\/span> governance<\/span>, <\/span>results-oriented<\/span> planning<\/span>, and <\/span>accountability<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This<\/span> review<\/span> responds<\/span> to<\/span> a <\/span>specific<\/span> need<\/span>: <\/span>to<\/span> incorporate<\/span>the<\/span> dimension<\/span> and <\/span>requirements<\/span> associated<\/span> with<\/span> the<\/span>Jerez 2031 <\/span>European<\/span> Capital <\/span>of<\/span> Culture (<\/span>ECoC<\/span>) <\/span>candidacy<\/span>, a <\/span>layer<\/span> of<\/span> projection<\/span>, <\/span>governance<\/span>, and <\/span>internationalization<\/span> that<\/span> was<\/span> not<\/span> explicitly<\/span> included<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span>original <\/span>formulation<\/span>. <\/span>This<\/span> effort<\/span> allows<\/span> the<\/span> PECCJ’s<\/span>operational<\/span> deployment<\/span> to<\/span> be <\/span>aligned<\/span> with<\/span> the<\/span>requirements<\/span> of<\/span> coherence<\/span>, <\/span>partnership<\/span>, <\/span>participation<\/span>, <\/span>European<\/span> dimension<\/span>, <\/span>communication<\/span>, <\/span>monitoring<\/span>, and <\/span>evaluation<\/span> inherent<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span> ECoC<\/span> framework<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In <\/span>parallel<\/span>, <\/span>the<\/span> #Jerez2031 <\/span>candidacy<\/span> has <\/span>worked<\/span> hard<\/span> to<\/span>provide<\/span> the<\/span> cultural sector and <\/span>the<\/span> public<\/span> with<\/span> a new and <\/span>much-needed<\/span> resource<\/span>: <\/span>an<\/span> updated<\/span> map<\/span> of<\/span> cultural <\/span>facilities<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This<\/span> new <\/span>map<\/span> of<\/span> Jerez’s<\/span> cultural <\/span>facilities<\/span> and <\/span>infrastructure<\/span> highlights<\/span> the<\/span> work<\/span> carried<\/span> out<\/span> during<\/span> the<\/span>candidacy<\/span> to<\/span> become<\/span> the<\/span> European<\/span> Capital <\/span>of<\/span> Culture 2031 and <\/span>showcases<\/span> the<\/span> scale<\/span> and <\/span>scope<\/span> of<\/span> this<\/span> network<\/span>of<\/span> public<\/span> and <\/span>private<\/span> infrastructure<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We<\/span> would<\/span> like<\/span> to<\/span> thank<\/span> the<\/span> more <\/span>than<\/span> 500 <\/span>people<\/span> from<\/span> the<\/span>province<\/span> of<\/span> C\u00e1diz <\/span>who<\/span> participated<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span> Survey<\/span> of<\/span>Cultural <\/span>Habits<\/span> and <\/span>Practices<\/span>, <\/span>launched<\/span> by<\/span> the<\/span>#Jerez2031 <\/span>European<\/span> Capital <\/span>of<\/span> Culture <\/span>candidacy<\/span>. Now, <\/span>we<\/span> are <\/span>reciprocating<\/span> their<\/span> effort<\/span> and <\/span>commitment<\/span> by<\/span>publishing<\/span> a <\/span>document<\/span> that<\/span> compiles <\/span>the<\/span> results<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This<\/span> required<\/span> the<\/span> implementation<\/span>, <\/span>over<\/span> several<\/span> weeks<\/span>, <\/span>of<\/span>a <\/span>structured<\/span> and <\/span>standardized<\/span> online <\/span>questionnaire<\/span> with<\/span>closed<\/span> and <\/span>semi-open<\/span> questions<\/span>, <\/span>using<\/span> a <\/span>random<\/span> sample<\/span>without<\/span> quotas<\/span>. <\/span>Its<\/span> dissemination<\/span> and <\/span>promotion<\/span> of<\/span>participation<\/span> were<\/span> supported<\/span> by<\/span> the<\/span> bid<\/span> website<\/span> and social media <\/span>campaigns<\/span>, <\/span>including<\/span> collaboration<\/span> with<\/span> opinion<\/span>leaders<\/span> and <\/span>influencers<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a <\/span>result<\/span>, <\/span>we<\/span> now<\/span> have<\/span> useful<\/span> and up-<\/span>to<\/span>-date <\/span>information<\/span> on<\/span> cultural <\/span>practices<\/span>, <\/span>frequency<\/span> of<\/span>participation<\/span>, <\/span>access<\/span> channels<\/span>, <\/span>perceived<\/span> barriers<\/span>, and <\/span>evaluation<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> cultural <\/span>offerings<\/span>. <\/span>This<\/span> valuable<\/span>knowledge<\/span> adds<\/span> significant<\/span> value <\/span>to<\/span> the<\/span> work<\/span> carried<\/span>out<\/span> by<\/span> #Jerez2031 <\/span>during<\/span> the<\/span> bid<\/span> process<\/span> and <\/span>is<\/span>essential<\/span> for<\/span> developing<\/span> our<\/span> cultural <\/span>program<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
