Jerez is once again demonstrating its commitment to culture, art, and diversity. This combination of concepts and priorities converges in the Diverso Jerez LGBTQAP+ Culture Festival, which is fully aligned with the city’s bid to become European Capital of Culture. From November 13th to 16th, the city will host a wide-ranging program of activities open to all citizens. Organized by the Jerelesgay association in collaboration with the Jerez City Council, the festival will take place in various public spaces and will feature film screenings, music, gastronomy, and more.<\/p>\n\n
This event aims to promote diversity, inclusion, and respect for LGBTQAP+ people, while simultaneously reinforcing the city’s commitment to freedom and coexistence. Furthermore, the Festival is part of the support for Jerez’s bid to become European Capital of Culture in 2031, and aligns with the city’s strategy to promote culture as a tool for social transformation. Under the slogan “Diverso Jerez” (Diverse Jerez), its program combines artistic, gastronomic, and recreational activities with a participatory approach that aims to highlight the cultural richness of the LGBTQ+ community and break down stereotypes.<\/p>\n\n
