Tomorrow marks the start of a new edition of the T\u00edo Pepe Flamenco Fashion Show, just weeks after Jerez officially became a candidate city for European Capital of Culture in 2031 following the submission of its bid book at the end of December. In this context, this internationally renowned flamenco fashion show has decided this year to dedicate and show its support for a project that, through diversity, participation, inclusion, and co-creation, aims to transform the city and province through culture, originating from the south of the continent. At the same time, this commitment to the bid strengthens its role as a collaborating entity in the project. \n<\/p>\n\n

Flamenco is a unique and prominent feature of Jerez’s culture and of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture candidacy. It is a living and participatory heritage that reinforces the cultural brand of the city, Andalusia, and Spain across five continents. Specifically within the realm of flamenco fashion, it has fostered an activity that combines creativity, talent, entrepreneurship, youth, and international reach\u2014all essential values \u200b\u200bof this European initiative.<\/p>\n\n

For this reason, the T\u00edo Pepe Flamenco Fashion Show 2026 aims, through all its channels and platforms, and thanks to its national and international reach, to raise the profile of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture candidacy among its target audiences. In this way, the thousands of people who will follow this event both in person and online will learn about the project through explanatory videos, will be invited to follow the candidacy’s activities through its social media channels, and will also have the opportunity to sign the Manifesto of Support at a stand located in a prominent place within the exhibition space.<\/p>\n\n

About the Fashion Show<\/p>\n\n

The T\u00edo Pepe Jerez Flamenco Fashion Show 2026 will celebrate its 19th edition from January 22nd to 25th at the Gonz\u00e1lez Byass Winery. It has established itself as a 360\u00ba experience where flamenco fashion coexists with crafts, culture, music, dance, gastronomy, and pairings in a unique setting. The official program includes 28 runway shows over four days and brings together more than 60 designers, serving as a platform to launch new proposals and as a showcase for trends in flamenco fashion and crafts with national and international reach.<\/p>\n\n

A major new addition is Innova Flamenca, a space that broadens the focus to include contemporary flamenco-inspired fashion, emphasizing sustainability, textile experimentation, and cutting-edge design. It features dedicated runway shows and educational activities within the event’s schedule. This new format reinforces the vibrant character of the event, where the winery ambiance and cultural pulse of Jerez accompany every look, from the front row to the last ruffle.<\/p>\n\n
