Las Cadenas Flamenco Cultural Association is committed to the youth participation process in the #Jerez2031 bid process

The recently created Las Cadenas Flamenco Cultural Association (ACF Las Cadenas) has wanted, from the outset, to get involved in the participatory project for the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid. With the creation of this new cultural entity, a group of local young people from various cultural disciplines is taking a firm step in promoting and disseminating young flamenco, a sector of great importance to the cultural identity of Jerez.

In this context, flamenco and young people are fundamental to continuing to make cultural exchange and inclusion the main axis of the city’s social and economic transformation.

The Las Cadenas Flamenco Cultural Association, which currently has 75 members, was founded with the goal of promoting young local flamenco, recognizing established artists, and offering a wide variety of cultural activities, such as talks and screenings of national and international reach.
