“Jerez is CULTURE. You are CAPITAL”, with this force idea, which synthesizes the true purpose of citizen participation of the candidacy of Jerez to European Capital of Culture 2031, the technical office of #Jerez2031 has launched a communication campaign that, through different supports and actions, will run until the first quarter of next year and whose official launch has wanted to coincide with the celebration of the Forum Jerez 2031 creative and patrimonial of the province.
In this way, dozens of mupis and urban bus marques of Jerez will take from this Thursday to all corners of the city the message that gives meaning to the candidacy process and that relocates at the center of all actions to the citizenship because each person of the city and the province is capital to strengthen the purpose and contents of the cultural program of #Jerez2031 European capital of culture.
To underline this argument, the central image of the campaign has been taken from the event held by #Jerez2031 on May 9 on the occasion of Europe and where more than a thousand boys and girls from primary schools in Jerez and its distances that in 2031 will reach the age from Europe (the ode to Beethowen’s joy).
In the coming months, between June 2025 and March 2026, it is planned to continue different media and by different supports to the “Jerez is culture. You are capital” since, among other actions, it is intended to take this message, which seeks to increase the participation of citizenship in the candidacy process, to the shops of the city with projection to establishments and locations in municipalities of the whole province of Cádiz.
