Paleta de Colores dedicates its new edition to European values within the framework of Jerez 2031

The organizing committee of Paleta de Colores, one of the city’s most established art exhibitions, has announced that the content and objectives of its next edition will focus on European values, in line with Jerez’s bid for the title of European Capital of Culture in 2031

In this way, this citizen cultural initiative aims to fully align itself with the purpose of the #Jerez2031 bid. This proposal was conveyed to the municipal government during a meeting attended by the city’s mayor, María José García-Pelayo, along with various members of the organizing committee, affiliated with the Hermandad del Desconsuelo (Brotherhood of Disconsolate), represented by Santiago Zurita, Jesús Fernández, Miguel García, Félix Sollero, and Miguel Rivero, who shared the general guidelines of the new exhibition proposal. The committee also shared the general guidelines for the new exhibition proposal, along with Francisco Zurita, the delegate for Culture, Festivals, Historical Heritage, and European Capital of Culture.

Furthermore, during the meeting, they explained that the next edition will pay tribute to all the artists who have participated in Paleta de Colores over the three decades of its history. This initiative promotes creativity and citizen participation and has established itself as one of the most visited exhibitions at the Claustros de Santo Domingo.
