Flamenco fashion influencers with nearly 2 million followers strengthen the #Jerez2031 candidacy

#Jerez2031 had a prominent presence during the Tío Pepe Flamenco Fashion Show, held from January 22nd to 25th at the González Byass Winery. This renowned international event held a meeting yesterday, just before its closing, with a dozen flamenco fashion influencers to encourage them to promote the city’s candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2031 on their social media profiles, thereby increasing its reach and digital community.

This activity, part of the communication strategy for the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid to increase participation and awareness of the project, was reinforced with a stand located in a prominent spot in the exhibition area. There, dozens of people had the opportunity to sign the Manifesto of Support and, by downloading simple QR codes, become followers of the #Jerez2031 profiles on social media: X, Facebook, and Instagram.

Furthermore, #Jerez2031 took advantage of this event for the city’s mayor, María José García-Pelayo, to present an award to Ana Belén Morillo, director of the Tío Pepe Flamenco Fashion Show, in recognition of this international event’s support and commitment to the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture candidacy.
