Jerez celebrates Pride Week with a full program of activities promoting inclusion and diversity

<p>Jerez is a diverse and tolerant city that embraces the values ​​of respect, freedom, and non-discrimination year-round. These priority principles of action constitute the common denominator of the comprehensive program of activities planned to celebrate Pride Week, through celebration and advocacy. Thus, Jerez City Council, in collaboration with groups and associations, has planned an intense program of events that began this weekend and will culminate this coming Friday on Pride Day with the reading of the Jerelesgay Manifesto and the presentation of the Rainbow Award at the city hall. The opening speech for the Pride festivities will be given by Romani and flamenco artist Fernando Soto in the San Miguel neighborhood. The event will continue on Saturday with the LGBTQIA+ Pride demonstration and a concert celebrating diversity and gender equality.</p>

<p>Activities also include a discussion on pride (today, Monday, at the Ateneo de Jerez), the presentation of the “Comercio Orgulloso” campaign (this Tuesday, starting at the Gallo Azul), the OrgulloVisión show dedicated to Eurovision (scheduled for this Wednesday at La Librería) and the 7th LGTBIQAP+ Art Exhibition “Jerez Visible” at the Bar Bujío in Plaza Cruz Vieja.</p>
