Jerez hosts a forum on flamenco and tourism to analyze new approaches for stable and distinctive cultural programming

<p>Culture is an asset for exchange and mobility. Jerez is a land of cultural encounter. Thousands of people from all continents visit us each year, attracted by our living, experiential cultural heritage.</p>

<p>In line with the purpose of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid, the city of Jerez hosted a forum on flamenco and tourism to address new analyses and approaches within a creative and cultural city model, with the participation of companies, institutions, and cultural and tourism stakeholders.</p>

<p>The event featured the participation of Roma singer María Vargas, who, interviewed by journalist Juan Garrido, recounted her flamenco experiences. This was followed by five workshops that addressed various topics related to sustainability, digital transformation, cultural programming, and educational activities related to flamenco as a tourism asset.</p>
