Jerez today reaffirmed its commitment to diversity, coexistence, and sustainability with a full program of participatory activities thanks to the collaboration of citizens and numerous social organizations. Throughout the day, it is holding various events related to World Day for Cultural Diversity, World Africa Day, and A City for Fair Trade.

These three activities are aligned with the purpose of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid. The involvement of all social and cultural groups, citizen participation, and the consolidation of an agenda based on the values of diversity, interculturality, and sustainability are part of a strategy aimed at achieving the great collective challenge of becoming the European Capital of Culture in 2031.

This agenda of actions, with culture as the epicenter of transformation, has been in development for months and whose scope goes even beyond 2031.
