This decision was announced today following the public statement made by the international panel responsible for evaluating both the bid book and the presentations of the nine candidate cities. Therefore, the cities Granada, Cáceres, Las Palmas and Oviedo will be the ones designated to continue in the process.
Regardless of the decision and the well-known complexities of a highly competitive process, the city of Jerez will incorporate into its cultural strategy the working methodology of the candidacy process and the results achieved in these months with the provision of new tools and utilities for the cultural, educational and heritage sectors of the province: review of the city’s Strategic Culture and Creative Plan, document of Studies of Cultural Habits and Practices or electronic map of cultural facilities and infrastructures.
