<p>Jerez will present its candidacy to join the UNESCO Network of Creative Cities in the gastronomy category. In this way, the city aims to commit to a series of national and international events that will strengthen the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture process. This is the agreement adopted today, Monday, by the Local Government Board.</p>
<p>The Creative Cities Network comprises a group of cities that must meet a series of criteria, including highlighting elements and concepts such as fostering creativity, promoting creative and cultural industries, sustainable development, the SDGs, the 2030 Agenda, sustainability, inclusion, the environment, diversity, sustainable development, intercultural dialogue, poverty eradication, and peacebuilding.</p>
