This afternoon, the Technical Office of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid held a meeting with the Network of European Horse Cities (Euro Equus), which is holding its General Assembly in the city today. The meeting aims to establish a common line of collaboration that will allow for the development of joint international cultural projects.

At the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, it was proposed that Euro Equus formally endorse the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid, thus further expanding its international reach. Likewise, the purpose and exact timing of the candidacy were explained, and the possibility of launching co-creation projects between #Jerez2031 and the European cities that make up the Euro Equus network was discussed.

At the Euro Equus General Assembly, among other matters, it was approved that the city of Jerez will continue to chair this network for the next two years. This international responsibility reaffirms the city’s commitment to leading cultural projects at the European level.
