The #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid begins a new phase of its participation process this Monday, following the Ágoras Ideas Lab held last July. Between October 6 and 9, one hundred cultural, social, and educational stakeholders from across the province will have the opportunity to participate in the Ágoras Projects Lab in four spaces at the Multipurpose Building on the Jerez Campus of the University of Cádiz.
Organized by the #Jerez2031 Technical Office, the Ágoras Projects Lab are conceived as co-creation spaces for the presentation, discussion, and exchange of projects in four areas: music, territory, visuals, and cross-disciplinary. With the development of this second phase of participatory forums, the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid aims to find projects that will contribute to shaping its cultural program through dialogue, encounter, and debate.
The #Jerez2031 forums therefore constitute a network of specialized exchange spaces with the aim of working consecutively in two laboratories: Ideas Lab (held last July) and Projects Lab. This participatory process will allow proposals to be submitted to the different programming lines to be included in the bid book. This document must be submitted by the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid book by the end of next December.
