#Jerez2031 maintains a program of meetings with senior citizens in the province to include their contributions in the European Capital of Culture candidacy process

The #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture candidacy continues with the roadmap of its participation plan, aiming to incorporate contributions from all sectors of the city and province into its content program, especially prioritizing those with less capacity to participate in cultural programs and circuits. Therefore, it has planned a program of meetings with senior citizens within the framework of the Active Seniors Fair, which takes place at the IFECA Exhibition Center in Jerez from April 2 to 4.

Thus, the person in charge of the #Jerez2031 participatory process, Amparo Rodríguez, has planned and coordinated a series of working sessions with seniors from Jerez and the province of Cádiz. Through dialogue and listening, she has received their input and then translated it into a specific program of cultural creation and action where they feel involved and part of the candidacy process.

In parallel, during the three days of the Active Seniors Fair in the province of Cádiz, #Jerez2031 has set up a permanent stand with information about the candidacy and where seniors from across the province have been able to sign the Adherence Manifesto.
