#Jerez2031 now has a technical office to work on the content and cultural and participation plan for the European Capital of Culture.

<p>#Jerez2031 has a fully operational team to develop, in a coordinated and participatory manner, the entire strategy and documentation for the European Capital of Culture candidacy process. Following the formalization of the governance model a few days ago with the establishment of the Governing Council comprised of the City Council, the Provincial Council, the Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Cádiz, today marked a significant step forward with the launch and inauguration of the headquarters of its Technical Office.</p>

<p>Located in the emblematic Tabanco del Duque, the #Jerez2031 Technical Office has opened its doors to the public from a former establishment dating back to the early 19th century, measuring approximately 200 square meters. It treasures a rich social and cultural history and was renovated by the Jerez City Council with European funding. A symbol of how culture can revitalize cities.</p>

<p>The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo; the Rector of the University of Cádiz, Casimiro Mantell; the President of the Provincial Council of Cádiz, Almudena Martínez; and the President of the Jerez Chamber of Commerce, Javier Sánchez Rojas, who were accompanied by a large representation of social, economic, and cultural stakeholders from the city.</p>
