<p>The Technical Office for the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid participated this Monday in the meeting of the city’s Local Council of the Elderly with the aim of strengthening the participation of seniors in shaping the project’s content and designing its cultural program.</p>
<p>Amparo Rodríguez, technical manager of the #Jerez2031 participatory process, participated in this advisory body for local institutions and represents all the city’s senior citizen groups to once again emphasize the need for their collaboration, involvement, ideas, and experiences.</p>
<p>The #Jerez2031 Technical Office detailed the keys to the bid’s participation strategy at the meeting of the Local Council for the Elderly of the city of Jerez and emphasized the need to involve the experience, wisdom, and talent of older adults throughout the process.</p>
<p>The Technical Office of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture Bid aims to take advantage of all forums, activities, and organizations related to the elderly community to involve them in the process, as they are an essential group in building a cultural program based on participation and dialogue. For this reason, #Jerez2031 held a series of meetings as part of the program of activities for the province’s Senior Citizens Fair, held a few weeks ago.</p>
