<p>The Jerez candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2031 has significantly intensified its citizen participation campaign in recent days coinciding with the beginning of one of the great annual cultural events of the city, the Jerez Festival which, between February 21 and March 8, brings together more than a thousand people from nearly 40 countries to attend the training and stage program.</p>
<p>Thus, only in the first weekend of the Festival, the Jerez 2031 Candidacy has added 200 new members among the participants in this event, thus reinforcing the citizen participation campaign and raising the number of individual members to over 3,500, in this case, with a marked international character.</p>
