The #Jerez2031 internationalization strategy takes the first steps toward a future alliance with the French city of Bourges

Among the most significant pillars of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid is its internationalization strategy, in which the various institutions that form part of its Governing Council participate as driving forces. In this context, the Jerez Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Planning, Coordination and Strategic Development Department of the Cadiz Provincial Council, has promoted an institutional mission with the aim of learning about successful experiences, strengthening European alliances, and continuing to forge the cultural future of both cities.

The delegation, composed of the First Deputy Mayor of Jerez City Council, Agustín Muñoz; The delegate for Employment, Self-Employment, Trade, and Business, Manuela García Jarillo; the president of the Jerez Chamber of Commerce, Javier Sánchez Rojas; the secretary general and managing director of the Chamber of Commerce, Juan Núñez; and Amparo Rodríguez, responsible for the bid participation process and also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, were welcomed by the mayor of Bourges, Yann Galut, the cultural technical team, and other project leaders, generating an enriching exchange of ideas and best practices.
