<p>Jerez is moving forward in its bid to be European Capital of Culture 2031. In this process, it has just incorporated a new space for dialogue with the arts. From this Saturday, November 23rd, until January 13th, 2025, the group exhibition “Viento a Favor” will bring together established national and international artists along with another group of young artists who are key figures in the current emerging art scene.</p>
<p>Curated by Bernardo Palomo, the Pescadería Vieja Gallery will present a dialogue between 21 contemporary artists who primarily focus on painting. The participating artists are: Amara Toledo, Ana Barriga, Andrés Aparicio, Cristina Lama, Edu Millán, Elena Núñez Mallén, Gloria Martín, Ignacio Estudillo, Irene Anguita, José Carlos Naranjo, José Casas, Juanma B. Grima, Laura Vinós, Lucía Tello, Manuel León, Pepe Domínguez, Ramón Muñoz, Rosa Aguilar, Santiago Ydáñez, Sofía González, and Víctor González.</p>
