Jerez will host the second edition of the Saborea Andalucía congress from February 18th to 19th. In this way, the city aims to highlight the role of gastronomy in the city’s culture, industry, and tourism. This event is being held as part of the preparation for Jerez’s bid to become the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy in 2026. Both initiatives will help articulate a portfolio of events in the #Jerez 2031 European Capital of Culture bid process.

This new edition of “Saborea Andalucía” will feature a total of 60 stands, 200 brands represented, 18 presentations, tastings, talks and discussions, several Iberian shoulder ham carving competitions, gourmet sandwiches, and tocinos de cielo (tocinos de cielo), among others.

The unique heritage of Jerez’s popular gastronomy is an asset to the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture bid.
