Rabanito Festival fuses music, crafts, gastronomy, tradition, and youth in its third edition

Each season has its own gastronomic and musical culture in Jerez. Therefore, for yet another year, the Rabanito Festival, in its third edition, unites music and gastronomy with a program where concerts will coexist with grape must, garlic from the vineyard, and traditional autumn dishes. This activity, which connects tradition and a young audience, will take place on November 8th in the city’s Alameda Vieja (organized by the City Council’s Youth Department and various local businesses), it aligns with the goal of the #Jerez2031 European Capital of Culture candidacy.

Specifically, more than 50 food truck and craft stalls are planned to showcase the city’s gastronomic richness and artistic and creative talent. Dishes such as ajo viñero, berza, cured meats, dressings, chicharrones, and cheeses will be paired with wines from the Marco de Jerez.

In this way, the city’s tangible and intangible heritage merges into a single activity, as attendees can explore the historical and artistic setting of the Alameda Vieja (Old Alameda) and, at the same time, discover dishes from the local recipe book, enjoy music concerts, and browse craft stalls.

Aligned with the activities of the 2026 Spanish Capital of Gastronomy (recently awarded to Jerez) and with the candidacy process for the European Capital of Culture in 2031, the Rabanito Festival seeks to unite tradition and youth, highlight young talent, and enjoy Jerez’s gastronomic richness.
